    This year PHP Conference Brazil completes 7 years of existence. "Obligatory" event for PHP programmers.

    For those who don't know, PHPConf, as it's called by developers, was the first specific PHP event with national coverage. With a fast growth the event established itself as the main PHP event in Latin America, having as it's main concerns to be accessible - with extremely reasonable subscription prices and giving away courtesy passes to the community - and content excellency - always bringing the best domestic and off-shore speakers.

    Works for more than 16 years developing web interfaced applications. Writes articles, makes presentations at events and manages the PHPBR PUG, a User Group that has more than 1.200 associates in Brazil.

    Aside from that has taken, in 2008 and 2009, the Content Direction and in 2010 the General Direction for PHP Conference Brazil, the first PHP specific event in Brazil with national coverage which, with an attendance of more than 4.500 participants in 6 years became the main PHP event in Latin America.
